It was Kamini’s brother who was against this relationship so the two had to part ways. Even during a famous media event in London on 100 Years of Indian Cinema, she was asked again about her alleged affair with Dilip Saheb, and she dodged the question and refused to comment on this relationship.

Madhubala
Madhubala had a nine year old and a long affair with Dilip Kumar. They even got engaged. According to an interview of Madhubala’s sister in Filmfare, the two looked made for each other and Dilip used to visit them home quite often. They did Mughal-e-Azam together and their pair became legendary. It was during their feud with the production house during the movie Naya Daur when Dilip did not support Madhubala and the two broke up. Madhubala wanted him to come and apologise to her father, but that never happened.

Saira Banu
Dilip Kumar was 22 years older to her but the two did get married. Saira still resides by his side in the most difficult times as the star is battling a lot of health issues. Their love story still seems like they’re newly married because their affection has not changed a bit.

Little to people know that Dilip Saheb had divorced Saira and married a woman called Asma Rahman. He later married Saira again after he left Asma.

In an excerpt from his book, Dilip Kumar said, “Well, the one episode in my life that I would like to forget and which we, Saira and I, have indeed pushed into eternal oblivion is a grave mistake I made under pressure of getting involved with a lady named Asma Rehman whom I had met at a cricket match in Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh) where she then lived with her husband. She was a mother of three when she was introduced to me as a fan and she seemed like umpteen other admirers, who were introduced to me by my sisters, Fauzia and Saeeda, at public places. She was a friend of my sisters.”

Vyjayantimala
Dilip Kumar had a crackling chemistry with Vyjayantimala. The two lit up every frame in films where they appeared together. After having worked in 6 movies together, Vyjayantimala married someone else and Dilip Kumar had to move on.

Dilip Kumar is still happily married to Saira Banu for 51 years now.
