Bollywood Stars Are Giving Two Thumbs Up To Udta Punjab
Updated : June 17, 2016 01:35 PM ISTSo today's the day!
After a long censorship row and other controversies that threatened its release, Udta Punjab finally hits the theatres today. And we ask ourselves a very pertinent question: How good is the movie? Because, at the end of the day, nothing else matters. All our prayers to get this movie released will be useless if the movie we wanted to see didn't live up to the hype.
Luckily, that doesn't seem to be the case. Members of Bollywood film industry have seen the film and the reviews are spectacular, to say the least. Performances of especially Alia Bhatt and Shahid Kapoor are especially praised; so is the direction of Abhishek Chaubey.
For me, #UdtaPunjab is the antithesis of DDLJ for our current generation.
