The first day of the prestigious Cannes Film Festival saw screenings of some acclaimed films and their red carpet event on Wednesday. Several celebrities, models and actors descended upon the red carpet to show off their beautiful dresses and tuxedos but some didn’t leave without a few embarrassing moments.

Model Emily Ratajkowski showed up in flowing golden silk and Audrey Hepburn hair. She also wore a dazzling necklace to go with her outfit.

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis’ daughter wore a beautiful white dress with golden embellishments at the waist and shoulders. She left her silky locks loose for the red carpet.

Actor Elle Fanning channelled her inner princess in a voluminous ball gown and luxurious make up.

Uma Thurman

Uma wore a blush pink gown with a diamond necklace. It was all superbly complimented by her blonde locks.
