The Cast Of Black: Then And Now!

One of the biggest hits from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's production was 'Black', a critically acclaimed and an audience appraised film which showcased Michelle McNally (Ayesha Kapur/Rani Mukherjee) as a stubborn blind and deaf girl who with the help of her teacher, Debraj Sahai (Amitabh Bachchan), goes on to become a college graduate. But it was not just a story of a physically challenged becoming a college graduate. It had a hidden lining of emotional connect between the student and the teacher, and how they withstand the test of time to help each other in the times of need. 

Debraj gives Michelle a life worth living when she was a kid and Michelle in return tries to remind her teacher about his past in his old age because he is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. It's been a while since the film released, and to be precise, it has been 11 long years.
