Yash Chopra's cross border romantic saga, Veer Zaara traced the love story of an Indian Air Force pilot (Shah Rukh Khan) and a Pakistani woman (Preity Zinta). How they meet and love blooms but circumstances serve as a barrier and they are separated. A Pakistani Lawyer (Rani Mukerji) takes it on herself to re-unite them.

Upon it's release in 2004, the film went on to become the biggest blockbuster of the year and is remembered as one of SRK, Preity and Rani's best work till date.
