Kapil Sharma Opens Up About Getting Married To His Girlfriend, Ginni Chatrath!

Taking people by surprise, comedian-actor Kapil Sharma made an announcement about his personal life on Twitter. He posted a photo with girlfriend Bhavneet Chatrarth aka Ginni and wrote, “Will not say she is my better half .. she completes me .. love u ginni .. please welcome her .. I love her so much:) (sic).”

Ask him if the announcement was for real and he says, “Why don’t people believe me? (laughs). Yes, it is true. Ginni and I are in love and she is lovely. We are not engaged yet. I will get married next year. I am very happy.”

The 35-year-old’s tweet caused a social media stir, as it was the first time that the very guarded Kapil spoke about his personal life. Apparently, he has been dating Ginni, who hails from Jalandhar, since a long time. He admitted to “knowing her for years now”. He says, “She is a simple girl and believes in charity. She works with and helps orphaned kids get a better life and wants to continue working for them.”

Reportedly, Kapil’s sister Pooja finds Ginni “very sanskaari”. Earlier in 2014, there were speculations that the two, who met during their college days in Punjab, had tied the knot.

Kapil Sharma will next be seen on the big screen in Firangi.
