Celebs React To Aamir Khan's Intolerance Statement
Updated : April 06, 2016 11:02 AM ISTThe intolerance war seems like a never ending debate, which has taken a lot of people down with itself. It has become a bone of contention with people on either side supporting what they feel is right. While the flames are getting higher, the volatile behaviour of a few is adding fuel to the fire. Amidst all the chaos and confusion, Aamir Khan has found himself quite a few haters and a very few supporters.
Anupam Kher was the first one to retaliate and he tweeted instantly:
Dear @aamir_khan. Did you ask Kiran which country would she like to move out to? Did you tell her that this country has made you AAMIR KHAN.

Rishi Kapoor didn't stay far behind and tweeted:
Mr.&Mrs. Amir Khan. When things are going wrong and the system needs correction, repair it,mend it.Don't run away from it. That is Heroism!

Raveena Tandon's tweet wasn't directed towards Aamir Khan, but she had a point to make and she said it.
But when it comes to respecting your nation and what it has done for you ?? Before that ask yourself.. What have you done for the nation?

Shirish Kunder and Farah Khan supported Aamir Khan throughout. Though Shirish became the victim of Anupam Kher's subtle anger.
Dear Anupam Kher, #AamirKhan was talking about Kiran Rao, not Kiran Kher. Hope this clears the confusion. Jai Ho :-)

Actor - Politician, Shatrughan Sinha, Also had a series of tweets linked up for Aamir.
Am fond of Amir Khan & family. But wholeheartedly disapprove of the idea of India being labelled intolerant by him and others too.

PK, where Hindu Gods&Goddess were made fun of in no uncertain terms wud not have seen such success if India was intolerant.

Aamir cleared the air about the entire controversy and his statement being blown out of proportion and released an open letter later during the day on Wednesday.
