Mubarakan released in theatres today all across the nation. Not only does this film have a double dose of Arjun Kapoor as Karan and Charan, there is also the evergreen Anil Kapoor to add tadka to the film. Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty play the leading ladies.

1. Arjun as Karan and Charan Singh

Charan Singh is the desi munda who has been raised in a conservative Punjabi family that follows all traditions strictly. He is the aygakari beta who does whatever his father tells him to do! Karan is the cool swagger who has been raised in London in a liberal household, and yet he is frightened of his mother despite being extremely clever and talkative!

2. Ileana D'Cruz as Sweety and Athiya Shetty as Binkle

Binckle is like the female version of Charan. Coy, shy and a believer in god, she speaks less and blushes at any small thing! Sweety is just her opposite. She is outspoken and speaks her mind, and though she has a lot of nakhre, she is a gem at heart!

3. Anil Kapoor as Kartar Singh

He is the creator of all the confusion. He comes up with ideas by seeing just anything around him, and these ideas generally always fail. He has a love for his mitti and the heavy drinker is actually a good man who reads through the minds of his nephews!

The storyline marrs the film. It is way too complex and complicated and stretches unnecessarily at the end. The film has some genuine moments of fun, but that is not enough for the entire film.
