Pehredaar Piya Ki: First Episode Review

 The first episode seemed very promising. The story is of a young 9 year old boy Ratan. Multiple twists and turns touched upon which left me wanting to see more, and know more. The mystery behind KakiMaasa (or Kaaki as Ratan’s mom wants him to address her) is very intruiging. Although we know nothing about her as yet, she seems like a sweet person reciting stories to Ratan and definitely loves Ratan as her very own. So then why does Ratan’s mom not like her? Like every family, this one has charaters with different shades which makes the show very interesting.

 Diya, the female lead looked beautiful in her orange lehenga as she enters the screen space running around like a fairy. It would definitely intresting to see how the chemistry unfolds between Ratan and Diya.

In the short clip that was shown at the end of the episode already revealed the reason for which the two would get married. However there is still a lot that is hidden, and it would be interesting to see how the story unfolds.
