This was like an unofficial prelude to Rakesh Roshan's Karan Arjun (without his pechant for punar-janam).

Rakhee played the same loving and over protective mother who kept the brothers together And Amrish Puri as Bhishambar Nath and Thakur Durjan Singh, the classic heartless 90s villain. Oh, how we love that time period!
