4 Upcoming Ranbir Kapoor Films That Will Put Him Back on Top

Ranbir Kapoor is one A-list actor that desperately needs a hit. We know we have been stressing over that fact for quite some time. But that's just because we really want him to succeed.
Ranbir Kapoor, for the most part, has been unlucky. Except Besharam maybe, nobody could have really foreseen his failures. Tamasha, for example, is one of those movies that shouldn't have failed but it did.
But there is light at the end of every tunnel as the actor is all kinds of poised to end his miserable streak.
Here are his upcoming projects:
Brahmastra
The actor has begun work with his close friend and director Ayan Mukerji for the third time. After giving hits like Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, the duo will now be teaming up for a superhero movie. The film, called Brahmastra, will be in three parts and will be set in modern times with characters having powers from 'ancient India'. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt are also set to star in the film.
The first part will be releasing in August 2019.
Shamshera
Shamshera will see Ranbir Kapoor in a never before seen avatar of a Dacoit. The film was announced in July 2018 and will go on the floors by the end of this year. It is being produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Karan Malhotra.
Sanju
After all the rumours and much buzz, the Rajkumar Hirani directorial has finally come true. The Sanjay Dutt biopic, better known as Sanju, will release on 29th June and stars Ranbir Kapoor. The film will follow the life of one of Bollywood's biggest and perhaps most controversial stars, Sanjay Dutt. The film also stars several other stars such as Sonam Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala and Dia Mirza. The roles they're playing can be found here.
After Sanjay Dutt biopic, Ranbir Kapoor was supposed to take up the role of none other than his own legendary grandfather, Raj Kapoor. However, no further news is upcoming and it seems the project may be on hold for now.
