Sarkar 3 Trailer: The chants of 'Govinda Govinda' Will Grow Louder After This!

Making a good sequel is tough. Making a third one to an original smasher movie is even tougher ,given the fact that you failed with the second one. The trailer of Sarkar 3 is a lesson in how franchise or sequel trailers should be made.

The background and ruthlessness of Subhash Nagre is quickly established. Also one after the other some very interesting characters get placed in front of us . Amit Sadh who has done only good boy jobs on screen so far gets his first full blooded and hot headed role.

Yami Gautam looks both ravishing and dangerous , a combination of a attractive and dangerous woman.

The trailer has its share of sharp one liners – lalach aur dar kisi ko bhee gaddar bana sakte hain !

In fact characters and teasing sequences are thrown at us with such sharp speed that memories of the director who gave us high speed entertainers like Ab Tak Chappan get revived.

Fortunately in this trailer and that is the first indiator if the fat that RGV has returned to form is the fact that camera angels and sound effects do not spoil the narrative of the trailer. RGV has become all about camera less about content in the last decade.

And of course the trailers draws its major energy and simmering attitude from Indian cinema’s most ferocious deliverer of anger – Amitabh Bachchan. The trailer of course shows Subhash Nagre in limited frames and yet to feel his presence even in frames where he is not there. This is one take away from the trailer a great achievement for the director and the actor.

The trailer gives you a great feel of the chemistry and complications between the characters , it also establishes Jackie Shroff as the main challenger and the man seems  to be doing an ok job at least in the trailer. Yet the trailer does not give you much about the plot.

It makes you curious enough to decide that yes Sarkar 3 is worth a visit to the theater.

This high intensity trailer ensures that Subhash Nagre will get a solid initial at the box office. What it signals is far more important for my kind of RGV fan – after a long painful wait , the RGV we knew , the RGV of Satya and Sarkar , is back !

The chants of Govinda Govinda will grow louder post this trailer. Rest assured.
