7 Upcoming Bollywood Films That We Should Be Excited For!

For several months now, social media has been abuzz with every detail of the major releases of this year. We all have heard a lot about Sultaan vs Dangal. We have read about Raees' shifting release date. Other than that, there has been a lot of talk about cricketers' biopics, be it Azhar, Sachin or Dhoni. But 2016 isn't only about these movies.
So here's a list of movies that we should be talking about but we haven't been:
Raman Raghav 2.0
Why should we be talking about it?
After creating the unforgettable crime saga Gangs of Wasseypur, director Anurag Kashyap and actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui come together for Raman Raghav 2.0. The movie, based on India’s most horrific serial killer, will have Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the titular role, along with Masaan’s Vicky Kaushal. Also, before it releases in India, the movie would premiere at the exclusive 2016 Cannes Directors’ Fortnight.

Rangoon
Why should we be talking about it?
Vishal Bhardwaj follows up Haider with a love triangle set in a World War 2 backdrop. Starring Shahid Kapur, Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan, the movie is being described as a Casablanca- romance, and it would be fascinating to see such sheer talent sharing the same screen.

Rock On!! 2
Why should we be talking about it?
The sequel that we all have been craving for since 2008, finally releases this year. Joining the old crew is Shraddha Kapoor who, according to reports, will be singing up to three songs in the movie. But what’s most awaited is Shankar-Eshaan-Loy’s return to rock!

Mirzya
Why should we be talking about it?
Another big director, namely Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, will be releasing a movie this year. Mirzya, which will be launching Sonam Kapoor’s brother Harshvardhan Kapoor, is supposed to be a tragic love story based on the Punjabi folklore of Mirza Sahiban.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil
Why should we be talking about it?
2016 might well be the year of big directors. Karan Johar, who previously directed Student of the Year, finally decided makes his cinematic comeback. The director’s huge fan-base will be even more thrilled when they realise that the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan.

Mohenjo Daro
Why should we be talking about it?
The epic movie, set in the era of Indus Valley Civilization, will mark the return of yet another acclaimed filmmaker who goes by the name of Ashutosh Gowarikar. The Swades director reunites with Hrithik Roshan, the star of his another hit movie Jodha Akbar. The film will also star South Indian beauty Pooja Hegde and veteran actor Kabir Bedi, who returns on screen after a long time.

Why should we be talking about it?
Ranveer Singh and Shuddh Desi Romance’s Vaani Kapoor star opposite each other in this Yash Raj Films production. The film, which will primarliy be shot in Paris, has already created some buzz over the on-screen intimacy of its leads. What’s more? The ever-so-selective Aditya Chopra will be venturing into experimental cinema as he directs only his fourth movie, his first since 2008’s Rabb Ne Bana Di Jodi. Yes, yet another directorial comeback.
