Tubelight Teaser: Is It Salman Khan’s Turn Now To Win The National Award?

“Yakeen Tubelight Ki Tarah Hota Hai, Der Se Jalta Hai Lekin Jab Jalta Hai Toh Full Light Kar Deta Hai”! May be the only dialogue from the teaser of Tubelight gives us enough idea what to expect from this movie. Set in the backdrop of Sino-Indian war amid war, bomb blasts and deaths, Tubelight still feels like a sweetly sketched drama about a special character played by Salman Khan. The two minute teaser which is surprisingly long for a Bollywood teaser starts off with the bird’s eye view of soldiers fighting a war.

While Kabir Khan’s brand of movies are inherently laden with some political backdrop to itself, Tubelight appears to be the most unlike Bhai films. Bhai is not breaking bones, delivering one liners or swaying girls with his trademark style. Playing what looks like a special character, the film talks about the peacemaking efforts around a war.

While Harshali Malhotra was a bundle of cuteness in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the cute Chinese face in this movie will perhaps take us back.

But the bigger prospect in place, Salman Khan really appears to be in a different league of his own in this Kabir Khan directorial. Some of the scenes have really brought out the best in him and we wonder what’s in store for us.

The film also has Sohail Khan playing a crucial role and this moment from the teaser will indeed get to your heart.

Tubelight is a historical movie and it plays it loudly with dashes of Gandhi ji too. With a constant emotional touch with a complimenting score, the teaser does intrigue to look for more.
