Indian television instead of progressing with the culture and times is becoming more and more redundant everyday. With the saas bahu sagas are clearly annoying the viewers with all the crying and drama, crime based shows are no less and make us shiver in fear at every step we take. While the youth clearly has learnt to stay away from these shows, our parents especially our beloved moms are hooked to these shows and here is why they need to stop watching these shows right now!

Crime Patrol -

Host Anup Soni presents the various signs and signals which can be noticed before a crime is committed by recreating real-life criminal cases through dramatisation. But the show presents the things in over exaggerated manner that our parents starts getting second thoughts before sending us out late night! Although, some things are true and can be relatable to the present situation but most of the times the serial shows a very weak and fragile image of females which is not true, girls now a days are very brave and strong.

Saavdhan India -

This programme features stories which deals with shocking crime inspired by real life events. The show mainly focuses on stories wherein justice was delivered. But most of the stories are unknown and we don't know whether it is a real life event or not. Similarly like crime patrol the show over exaggerates things wayyy too much. Such shows influence our minds and change our thought process.

C.I.D -

CID is an Indian detective television anthology series about India's Crime Investigation Department. Which we think should just end now because which ever case is shown that can be solved by a 10yr old too. CID is Indian CSI just with a lot of exaggeration and hilarity. The Daya in the show breaks all the doors of intelligence and common sense. For parents who easily believe in crime stories as such, it is better to stay away from the show.

Sasural Simar Ka

The show started on 2011 since than the show experienced many ups and downs, twists and turns, many superficial powers attacking the casts and obviously sass-Nahi dramas. The seemingly unending issues in Simar's life just about make anything believable and the world can do so much better than this show, not just our parents!

Naagin

The first season began in 2015 and now the second season is on air for couple of months now. The first season was a headache to handle but the producer was not done yet so they thought to bring out a torturous part 2. Expanding the already large world of superstions, we clearly don't want our mothers to not indulge in this show.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai

It's been years now, whole country knows inka rishta kya kehlata hai .

The show started with a very good response and had a great TRP. The show started with Akshara and Naitik and now the show revolves around their son Naksh and Naira. As the years passed the show became irritating and the story became boring. Yet the producers aren't giving up and the show is still on air. Besides the idea of perfect and 'adarshwadi' relationships its setting is the bane of our exsistance at home, courtesy moms who watch the show!

Sath Nibhana Sathiya

The show premiered on 3rd May 2010, show has completed 7 YEARS! And it's getting more and more annoying everyday, the content is completely consistent. Even if you miss the show for a week and start watching it again the plot will be completely same!

We simply things it's high time our moms stopped sympathising with the unending life troubles of Gopi bahu!

But you have to give it to our TV industry for those tonnes of makeup and kilos of jewellery, superficial powers, supernatural attacks.Who sleeps and wakes up with that much makeup on? And they say that's natural and real!
