Here's Why Twinkle Khanna Said That She Sold Her Mangalsutra To Fund Akshay's Padman

An online portal published a story around Twinkle Khanna and Akshay's production, Padman, hinting that the budgeting of the film has failed miserably.

Mrs. Funnybones who has the eyes of an eagle and voraciously scans each story on social media, stumbled upon this piece of news which read, "Sources close to Twinkle reveal that she and her production team are not really seeing eye-to-eye with regard to her first film project Padman — and with good reason. Twinkle has maintained a dignified silence on the complete failure of her production team, which clearly couldn’t keep the budget in check. Because of that she now owes a sizeable sum of money to the creditors. In fact, the team isn’t happy about Twinkle trying her hands in production either.”

Next we know, she made a burning tweet with a clarification which is just another proof that no one can meddle with Mrs. Funnybones. Bonus points to her sense of humour in the tweet that says, "I also had to sell my mangalsutra.."
