3 Upcoming Amit Sadh Films That Can Give His Bollywood Career A Big Boost

From the moment he bagged his first major role in television, Amit Sadh caught the eye of the viewers. It might be because of his good looks or the fact that he had a natural charisma that one associates with good actors. So, it is of no surprise that the actor transitioned to films. But, while he has appeared and impressed in more than a few 'big' films, the actor's movie career has been start-stop.

Take last year's Sultan for example. The actor's performance as the struggling businessman was widely appreciated. But his next film, Running Shaadi.com, where he starred opposite Taapsee Pannu, failed to impress many people. And this is not the first time that has happened. After doing the fantastic Kai Po Che, the actor didn't do a film for almost two years. His follow-up Guddu Rangeela, while well-received, failed to capture the attention of many.

Which brings us to his upcoming films, and whether they have the potential to bring the talented actor continued success. 

Sarkar 3

Ram Gopal Varma and Amitabh Bachchan are reuniting to bring back the iconic role of Subhash Nagre back to the silver screen. The movie will also star Amit Sadh, Manoj Bajpayee, Yami Gautam and Jackie Shroff. Amit Sadh will reportedly the play the role of Kay Kay Menon's son and will be one of the antagonists in the movie.

The movie is scheduled to release on 7 April, 2017.

Saat Kadam

The delayed project is finally set to release. Produced by Eros entertainment, the film revolves around the generation gap between a father and son. The film will also star Ronit Roy and Deeksha Seth. 

The film is slated for a 2017 release.

Raagdesh

The incredibly talented Tigmanshu Dhulia is back with Raagdesh, a story about the Indian National Army (INA) Trials or famously know The Red Fort Trials of 1945. The film, which is in production, stars Kunal Kapoor, Mohit Marwah and Amit Sadh.

The film will reportedly release in 2018.
