5 Bollywood Films That Will Break The IPL Jinx In This New Quarter!

The first quarter of the year is already over and Bollywood has already seen some mega releases like Raees, Kaabil and Badrinarth Ki Dulhaniya in these three months. Looking forward at the this new quarter in Bollywood, would mostly be dominated by the IPL jinx for the first two months, there are however some big movies making their way in these three months and their cash with the IPL makes it even more interesting.

Begum Jaan  - With a might cast of all women, it is the story based on a brothel post the partition of India. 11 women refuse to give up their brothel and part ways with one another while India and Pakistan are busy dividing people and assets post the independanc e of the nation. The film stars Vidya Balan playing the fierce Begum Jaan in the film and it looks entirely promising. The film is all set to release on 14^th April 2017.

Baahubali 2 : The Conclusion – Apart from the roaring curiosity in the masses about why Kattapa killed Baahubali, the second installment of Baahubali that is all set to release on 28^th April, declared success even  before it’s release. It is perhaps one of those ventures that probably IPL should be scred of and has the potential for being the biggest film of the year.

Hindi Medium – The Irrfan Khan and Sana Qamar starrer film has released it’s trailer, which is too entertaining and has already created the right kind of buzz with the audiences. The film is releasing on 12^th May and apart from it’s promising storyline it has the potential to do wonders at the box office. The film is about a young couple struggling to get their daughter enrolled in a English medium school.

Meri Pyaari Bindu – With all 5 chpaters of the film out, there has been a lot of buzz around what the film would be like. An interesting romantic comedy that it promises to be has a lot of anticipation around it for its offbeat romance and for the chemistry between Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra that looks promising. The film will hit the theatres on May 12^th clashing with Hindi Medium.

Tubelight – Finally, Salman Khan’s Tubelight that has been in the news for quite sometime now will release on Eid in June. With Chinese actress Zhu Zhu making her debut opposite Salman Khan to Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo in the film, everything about the film has grabbed the attention the audiences and the films has high expectation placed on them. The release of the film is fixed for 25^th June 2017.

Other major films releasing this quarter include, Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor starrer Half Girlfriend, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon starrer Raabta, Sonakshi Sinha’s Noor and Sachin Tendulkar’s biopic.
