Updated : May 16, 2017 05:35 PM ISTActor Sushant Singh Rajput is one dedicated person, especially when it comes to fitness. Dabbling multiple projects and working on films back-to-back can drain anybody, but not this actor. Rajput is very particular about his gym routine, and the same is evident from this social media feed. His fitness trainer, Samee Ahmed, trains him with a combination of calisthenics and mixed martial arts.

He posted this transformation photo a few months back. He was injured during the shoot of a film in January this year, but trained hard to get this physique.

His trainer also shared this video, applauding the actor for pulling off the triple clap smoothly. This exercise is a part of strength training builds explosive power in the pectoralis major which is the largest muscle in the chest; the deltoids or the major muscles in the shoulders; and the triceps, the muscles at the back of the arms.
Here he is, doing barbell push-ups. These are like regular push-ups, but so much harder. He sure makes it look easy, doesn’t he?
Variation of the regular push-up seems to be Sushant Singh’s Rajput favourite regime. Calisthenics are a mix of gross motor movements that aim to achieve fitness, flexibility and grace of movement.
This is him, with his trainer, showing off some mixed martial arts moves with perfection and nimbleness of an alley cat.
We bet you are questioning your decision to eat that entire cookie all by yourself this morning. This video shows him doing an ab wheel rollout with resistance band.
Mixed push-ups offer a variation in the way push-ups are done. Sushant Singh Rajput’s trainer posted that it’s just a warm-up before the training starts for the day.
If you are vying for this level of fitness, you need to understand your body and start off slow. Always consult your doctor before undertaking any fitness regime. Don’t feel shy to enrol the assistance of a trainer, and remember to never exhaust yourself. Till then, we’ll always have Sushant Singh Rajput raising the heat.
