After Eventful Year Gone By Here's Awarding The Most Entertaining Celebrities Of Bollywood In 2017
Updated : December 31, 2017 02:31 PM ISTWe have begun counting hours to the arrival of 2018 but it would be unfair if we just bid goodbye to 2017 without acknowledging the real gems who kept the year buzzing with their extraordinary gifts to entertain. And we really do not mean the movie when we say this but here's counting the real-life offscreen heroes who simply won us over by their actions.
We are giving out awards to the biggest entertainers from the Bollywood, without who 2017 wouldn't have been the same. Take a look at the winners!
Tubelight Of The Year
As we already know it wasn't the be time for Tubelights in Bollywood, but apart from the movie we had a hard time picking out the clear winner and hence here are the two winners for this category.
Sidharth Malhotra - The actor took the marketing of movies to a new high while being a well-wisher for the folks in Haryana. His unique approach to empathizing simply blew us over.
Surveen Chawla - The Parched actress managed to keep her Italian wedding a better secret than Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma could ever. But she sure remembered that she did get married two years later as she shared the big news on Twitter right after Virat and Anushka'sweddingg reception.
Dhinchak Selfie Of The Year
Varun Dhawan -Riding high on the dual success of 2017 with big hits like Judwaa 2 and Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, Varun Dhawan has enough reason the rejoice. The actor became so happy and forthcoming that he even obliged fans in Mumbai mid-traffic with a selfie still sitting in his car. He sure heard the best of it from the police themselves though.
Tumse Na Ho Payega Award
Shraddha Kapoor - Of what could have been a great year for the actress with three releases in the pipeline, it turned out to be really disheartening for Shraddha Kapoor. After Ok Jaanu failed to work, came a rather depressing and random Half Girlfriend in April 2017 which did average business. She then sealed the deal with Haseena Parker of which her acting was the saddest part!
Angoor Khate Hain Award
Harshvardhan Kapoor - He worked really hard to make his debut work in 2016. But let's face it Mirzya was a mega flop and post that to keep his hope fairly high to win an award for the best debut meant just being over-ambitious. The Kapoor lad not only expressed how he felt that Filmfare was unfair but also dragged in Diljit Dosanjh the winner. Bravado!!
The Katti Batti Award
Karan Johar and Kajol - Not only did they have a spat over clashing interests over the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay battle in 2016, Karan Johar who released his book this year made it a point and thought it was a good idea to express is fallout an excerpt in his biography. Yet the best of it came when these two patched up in full social media glare.
Nepotism Zinda Hai Award
Nepotism was big in the news this year and thanks to Bollywood the rest of the country had their vocabulary brushed up. Well in this vouge category it was hard to pick out the star, as on side, Kangana started a debut on it being an unfair opportunity for Bollywood families and on the other hand, the kids of some big stars readied themselves for showbiz and grabbed the limelight. The winners here are Ishaan Khattar, Sara Ali Khan, Jhanvi Kapoor and Ananya Pandey.
Ban Of The Year
Pahlaj Nihalani - The now ex-censor board chief was the biggest star of the year as his judgments over Bollywood films were beyond common understanding. But after the whole hoopla that he caused around the release of Jab Harry Met Sejal objecting to the word intercourse in the trailer. But the best was yet to come as he was made to step down from his position as the Censor Board Chief and lyricist Prasoon Joshi was installed in his position.
