Akshay Kumar Reacts To Rumors Of Housefull 4 Makers Reporting False Box-Office Records

Housefull 4 is probably in for one of the most unique controversies this year. The film has been majorly panned by the critics, however, as always Akshay Kumar’s presence in the film, it seems, has been making sure that audiences flock to the theatres. Thanks to Akshay’s loyal fan base, the film has managed to collect about Rs. 87.78 crores till Monday according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

However, the case seems to be a little more complicated than this. While the rumors were already doing the rounds, producer Ronnie Screwala recently posted about the makers of the film manipulating the box-office numbers. Not just that, several others like Sumit Kadel and Raj Bansal have also echoed the same concern. In fact, the outrage led to ‘Fake Housefull4 Figures’ becoming a trend on Twitter India.

In the face of the outrage, Akshay Kumar has finally reacted to the rumors but not directly. Instead of talking directly to media or addressing the accusation directly on Twitter, Akshay took a less direct route and posted, “Thank you for loving us and laughing with us. It is because of your love we are where we are today. Thanks to all my fans and audiences who have poured unconditional love on #HouseFull4. Thank you for showing us that nothing beats hate more than love.”
