5 Upcoming Films of Kartik Aaryan - That Will Make Him A Bona Fide Star

Only six movies old in the Bollywood industry, Kartik Aaryan has already made his mark, with playing  roles ranging from  the quintessential aashiq in Akaash Vaani, to his bromance in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Aaryan has quickly become a household name, his latest movie even being a part of the very exclusive 100 crores club. Here is a list of his upcoming movie in 2018 and 2019 that we need to keep our eyes open for :

1.       Luka Chuppi

The movie directed by Dinesh Vijan is set to release on 4th march 2019, along with Kriti Sanon. Dinesh was quoted saying, “While Kartik is the quintessential good boy every girl wants to take home to mamma, Kriti represents today’s youth who advocate gender equality and have their own ideology,”.

2.       Aankhen 2

The movie is the sequel of the 2002 movie Aankhen and will be produced by RajTaru studios. Reportedly talks to sign Sushant Singh Rajput and Kartik Aaryan are in the final stages to co-star along with Amitabh Bachchan.

3.       Remake of Jigarthanda

The remake of the Tamil film is being produced by Ajay Devgn. Initially Farhan Akhtar was supposed to play the lead role, however, due to some differences, Kartik Aaryan will be playing the role instead, starring along with Sanjay Dutt. Tamannaah Bhatia is allegedly also starring in this remake.

4. A Karan Johar Project

Though the three movie deal Aaryan had with Karan Johar fell through, according to the rumor mills Aaryan might be seen in a Karan Johar project, starring Kareena Kapoor. However the two will not be seen as a couple, rather Aaryan will have a younger actress paired opposite him.  It is said that the movie will be directed by Raj Mehta.

4.       A Sanjay Leela Movie

Rumors are strife that Aaryan is in discussion regarding a project with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, for a romantic movie. However, nothing has been finalized as of yet.

With such an array of projects in his kitty, Aaryan is sure to have a busy year ahead. However, we are rooting for this Gwalior boy who has etched his own way into Bollywood and is living the life that all us commoners can only dream of.
