Good Newwz Day 24 Box-Office: Akshay Kumar Delivers His 3rd Consecutive 200 Crore Film!

2019 has proved to be one heck of a year for Akshay Kumar. Well, we mean it in a positive sense! Khiladi Kumar had as many as four releases in 2019- Kesari, Mission Mangal, Housefull 4 and Good Newwz and now with yesterday’s collection of Good Newwz, Akshay had delivered 3 consecutive 200 crore club film.

Good Newwz has been unstoppable at the box-office. The film, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani alongside Akshay Kumar, had stormed into the 100 crore club within a week. And now, despite new releases in the new year, the film is steady and has now made an entry into the 200 crore club. On Sunday, i.e., on Day 24, the film made a collection of 1.89 crores INR, taking the total to 201.14 crores INR.

The film took less than a month to achieve this feat. Before this, Mission Mangal an Housefull 4 had also made an entry into the 200 crore club. Good Newwz also marks the second 200 crore film for Kiara Advani after Kabir Singh. Diljit Dosanjh registered a super hit with this one after many flops.

The film might now slow down, given Super Dancer 3D is all set to release this weeken along with Kangana Ranaut starrer Panga.
