The films, that released together on Independence Day this year, are enjoying no major release this week. As expected, both the films have been benefitting from this, even though Mission Mangal is trending better than Batla House!

Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal has been doing tremendously well. It kept on with the same trend and on Sunday, i.e., on Day 11, the film saw a jump in its collection. On Sunday, Mission Mangal made 15.30 crores compared to 13.32 crores on Saturday. The film’s total collection is now 164.61 crores.

Well, the film definitely got a push because of Janmashtami as well. But this film’s collection is going stupendous and it would cross the total collection of Akshay’s last release, Kesari, in just a few days. In fact, Mission Mangal is the second fastest film of Akshay that entered the 150 crore club, the first place being held by Rajinikanth starrer 2.0.

Batla House too has shown similar trend and has collected more on Sunday as compared to Saturday. The film collected 7.21 crores on Sunday as compared to 6.58 crores on Saturday. The film has now collected a total of 83.78 crores.
