Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan is on a winning streak while Bhoot: The Haunted Ship has had very limited growth at the box-office.
Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan had a steady growth at the BO. The film collected a good 12.03 crores INR on Sunday, i.e., on Day 3, taking the total collection to 32.66 crores INR. The collection is steady at the metros.

The film became Ayushmann’s fourth biggest opener after Deam Girl, Bala and Badhaai Ho which had a 4-day extended weekend. The film needs to stay steady through the week as well.

Bhoot: The Haunted Ship had very limited growth, which is rather surprising given Saturday and Sunday were holidays. The film collected just 5.74 crores INR on Sunday compare to 5.10 crores INR On Friday. The total collection of the film is now 16.36 crores INR.

Well, given the numbers, it is clear that Shubh Mangal would be the film of the week. Vicky Kaushal’s Bhoot had received quite a few negative reviews, which might have been the reason behind its poor performance. Shubh Mangal would easily cross the 50 crore mark by Week 1.
