Sooryavanshi Day 2 Box-Office: Akshay Kumar's film mints close to 24 crores on Saturday, collects 50 crores in just 2 days

Moviegoers had been missing the cinema experience for a long time now. The theatres did open in between, in March 2021 with limited capacity in most states, only to close soon following the second wave of COVID. Post that, theatres reopened in August but it was a film like Sooryavanshi that the audience had been waiting for. It's perfect for the theatres- there's action, there's masala. there's dhamaka and there's the magic of Rohit Shetty's cop universe. On top of that, Akshay Kumar donned the uniform this time as he joined forces with Ajay Devgn's Singham and Ranveer Singh's Simmba. And audience too has showered their love for the film. In fact, it has already pocketed 50 crores in just 2 days, despite limited occupancy in many states like Maharastra, Goa.

On Day 2, i.e., on Saturday, the film has collected23.83 crores INR. That's a bit less than the first day collection of 26.29 crores INR. Together, the 2 days collection stands at 50.14 cr INR, which is huge given the curtailed occupancy in some parts of the nation still.
