War Day 7 Box-Office: Hrithik-Tiger Starrer Enters 200 Crore Club, Crosses Lifetime Biz Of Bharat!
War Collects 216.65 Crores Within A Week

When the two had announced collaboration in Siddharth Anand’s War, we knew that the film was going to be big. But what most of us had not imagined was the magnanimous success that the film is registering. War has already entered the 200 crore club and what’s more, it has surpassed the lifetime collection of Salman Khan’s Bharat, all within a week of its release!
On Tuesday, i.e., on Day 7, War collected a good 27.75 crores, which was bigger than its Saturday collection. Well, that can be attributed to the fact that yesterday was a holiday. The total collection of War now stands at 208.05 crores. But this is only the ccollection for the Hindi version. If we take into consideration the Tamil and Telugu versions as well, the total collection stands at a whopping 216. 65 crores.

Well, War has crossed a benchmark with every passing day! It crossed 50 crores on the opening day itself, 100 crores on Day 3, 150 crores on Day 5 and 200 crores on Day 7.

In just a week, the film has become the third highest grossing film of 2019 and is now looking forward to surpass the collection of Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri: The Surgical Strike and Shahid Kapoor’s blockbuster, Kabir Singh.

Thanks to mid-range releases in the upcoming weeks- Priyanka Chopra starrer The Sky Is Pink on 11th October and Saif Ali Khan starrer Laal Kaptaan on 18th October, the film will continue to do well without major competition. It is only after Diwali that the biz may slow down.
