Gangster Sanju Baba Enters The Royal World In Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3 Trailer
Updated : June 30, 2018 04:29 PM ISTSaheb, Biwi Aur Gangster is one of the few successful film franchises in Bollywood. The series chronicles the (mis)adventures of the titular Saheb (Jimmy Sheirgill), his Biwi (Mahie Gill) and the gangsters who change from film to film. While the first part had Randeep Hooda as the gangster, part 2 featured Irrfan Khan as the vengeful gangster.
Sanjay Dutt now steps in the shoes of the gangster in this 3rd instalment which has also been directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia who directed the previous 2 instalments. Tigmanshu has also written the film along with Sanjay Chauhan. It will be released on 27th July 2018. The trailer was released a few hours ago. Here is the trailer breakdown:
Baba being bad: Sanjay Dut makes a stylish entry to the franchise while subtly hinting at his off-screen bad boy image which was given to him by the media. He seems to be the owner of a bar-casino and looks like a formidable enemy to Jimmy Shergill's Saheb.
Deceit & double cross: The theme which is continuous throughout the franchise is that no one here is shown in a positive shade and even our protagonists have shades of grey who look for their selfish interests before anything else. This deceit and double-cross flavour has earned the franchise its loyal fanbase and the trend seems to be continuing in the 3rd instalment.
The Royal charm & dialogues: The highlights of the previous 2 films have been the performances, the rustic locales and the royal looks and vibes that the characters ooze. The dialogues have always gotten special praise from the critics and the audiences and it seems like this instalment is also going to be high on some really cool royal dialogues.
New & old characters: Chitrangada Singh is the new addition to the instalment whose character seems to play an important role in the story while Soha Ali Khan's Ranjana from the previous film also makes an appearance. It means both the new and old character form a major part of the story.
The fate of Saheb & Biwi: The Saheb and Biwi have been able to survive political animosity, assassination attempts, double cross and whatever hurdles that have been thrown at them but the trailer looks like an endgame which may be just impossible to survive. What's going to happen to them? We'll have to wait till 27th July to find out.
