No matter how bad the world may seem at times, for most of us, going back to parents take care of everything that is wrong with life. Our biggest support and pillars of strength, for most of us parents only mean unconditional love and support.

But for some of our Bollywood stars, things were not that sunny with their parents. While some craved acknowledgement from fathers, some felt unwanted or betrayed by their parents. Here are a few Bollywood celebrities whose relationship with their parents were tumultuous from their childhood. Take a look.

Kangana Ranaut

The queen is not so fierce and full of fire for no reason. On multiple interviews, Kangana has mentioned that she did not have the sunniest of childhoods. She had issues with her family, especially her father whom she threatened to slap if he slapped again. She even went to the extent of saying that her parents wanted a male child and she was an unwanted child.

Randeep Hooda

Randeep Hooda, in most of his interviews, said that he was not comfortable talking about himself or his personal light. However, in some of his interviews, he mentioned that he was brought up by his grandmother. Randeep also revealed that he found his grandmother bitter and felt betrayed by his own parents because of their decision to leave him with his grandmother and go to the Middle East in search of fortune.

Rekha

It is common knowledge that Rekha was the illegitimate daughter of the star Gemini Ganesan who refused to acknowledge Rekha for the longest time. She even mentioned a heart-breaking incident when Gemini Ganesan came to pick his kids up from school and did not even look at Rekha who was standing right next to them. It was only much later that Rekha was accepted by her father.

Prateik Babbar

Raj Babbar left his wife Nadira Babbar and his family to marry Smita Patil whom he was madly in love with. The two got married and soon Smita was pregnant with Raj’s child. Unfortunately, Smita could not survive the complicated and died within two weeks of giving birth to Prateik Babbar. Prateik was thus bought up by his maternal grandmother with almost Raj Babbar missing in attendance in his life entirely. However, after Prateik joined Bollywood, they have reconciled their differences and are now like any other father-duo.
