Here's Why Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are Far From the Ideal Couple

The latest rumors surrounding Priyanka and her new man have got the Internet on a high. Fans and supporters seem to absolutely love the new pairing, and support the two to the fullest. There are, however, many who feel that the two are anything but ideal. Though they may be cuddling at dinner tables, and laughing at baseball games, Priyanka and Nick do not seem like they’re the ideal celebrity couple. Here’s why:

1.   Ship name? What ship name?

Over the years, the Internet has made it pretty clear that they need a ship name for a celebrity couple in order to truly support them. For Priyanka and Nick, however, it seems close to impossible to give them one. What could it be? Prick? Niyanka? Chonas? Jopra? It. Just. Doesn’t. Work. Knowing the Internet, though, one can almost be certain that they’ll come up with something, hopefully a little less ridiculous than Prick.

2.   Where’s the PDA?

Almost every celebrity couple gives us at least a little PDA. In the case of these two, however, we see very, very little. Apart from cuddling when on a ‘date’, the pair has shown no obvious signs of PDA or any affection, whatsoever (save for a couple overly flirtatious comments on Instagram posts) and it’s making us lose our minds. We need PDA, and so do you.

3.   You call that a date?

The pair has often been seen ‘hanging out’, as they call it, in various spots that wouldn’t be classified as couple-worthy. Herein come the speculations of ‘just friends’ all over again. They were spotted at an LA Dodgers baseball game together, but weren’t seen getting close, just lots of laughter and friendly love. Where’s the romance?

4.   Leading fans on

Two words. Instagram. Comments. While a little suspense is ideal, and makes one think, Priyanka and Nick have upped it a notch. Amidst relationship speculations, the duo decided to be flirty and sweet on social media, leaving cute comments on each other’s Instagram posts. It’s leaving fans confused, are you together, or are you not?

5.   Age is just a number

Fans are more than happy seeing the duo together. However, there are some who heavily disapprove of their budding relationship, given the fact that Priyanka is 35 years old, whereas Nick is just 25. That shouldn’t matter, ideally, it is 2018 after all. Since, however, fans disagree with this, we disagree with this.

If Priyanka and Nick do turn out to be a couple, it won’t be disastrous, but won’t be ideal, either. In the event of that occurrence, we wish the duo all the very best.
