Patriotic films have become the genre of the season. While even a few years back, only a handful of patriotic films would be made, now this genre is almost ruling the Hindi film industry. In fact, makers have also found a way to combine with the other popular genre of biopics and are now bringing out biopics of people who played a key role in making India proud.

While as many as 11 upcoming patriotic films are on the pipeline for 2019-20, only 15 out and out patriotic films were made in the last 5 years! Shocking, isn't it?
