Aishwarya's Son To Abhishek's Wife, These People Randomly Claimed To Be Related To Stars
Updated : July 12, 2018 03:38 PM ISTOur love for our Bollywood stars knows no bound. Most of us would love to have them or maybe somebody like them in our lives as partners or even other relatives. But, some fans take this love to the level of serious obsession and make claims that are bizarre beyond imagination. While one claimed to be estranged parents of Dhanush, one claimed to be the son of Aishwarya while another claimed to be the wife of Abhishek.
Here are a few people who made bizarre claims of being related to these superstars.
A man from Andhra Pradesh named Sangeeth Kumar claimed to be Aishwarya Rai’s son. The 29 year old alleged that Aishwarya gave birth to him through IVF in London in 1988 that too when she was only 15 years old. He further added that for the first two years he stayed with his grandparents, Aishwarya Rai’s parents Brinda Rai and Krishnaraj Rai and then was sent to Chodavaram where he grew up. He declared that he wanted Aishwarya Rai to leave her family and come and live with him in Mangalore.
Talking to the media Sangeeth, who actualls uses Rai as his middle name, said, “I’m getting enormous headache and anger at my native place, most of my relatives have manipulated things since childhood, otherwise I would have come back to my mother before itself with clear information. Due to lack of information, I could not come to my mother, so now I got all clarity.” He further added, I want my mom to come and live with me in Mangaluru. It’s already 27 years since I separated from my family, I miss her a lot.
Just like wife Aishwarya, Abhishek has also been a victim of weird claims. On the day of his wedding with Aishwarya Rai, a model named Jhanvi Kapoor created a massive hue and cry outside the wedding claiming to that Abhishek was his husband and was hell bent on stopping the wedding. She had to be arrested by the police as she threatened to kill herself if Abhishek got married to Aishwarya. Finally, she was granted a bail and was made to pay a fine of 10,000 rupees for attempting to commit suicide..
While she had no pictures or any other evidence to back her claim, she went on claiming that she and Abhishek were indeed married. In an interaction with the press, she claimed that she met the actor during the shoot of Dus as she was one of the dancers in the title track. She said, “We exchanged phone numbers and used to interact regularly through e-mails. He even put sindoor on my forehead and married in the presence of some friends,” however, she refused to give out the names of the friends. Later it was revealed that her real name was Naina Rizvi and she was earlier married to one of the sons of Maulana Kalbe Sadiq of the Muslim Personal Law Board in Lucknow, though Jhanvi herself denied this.
Shahid Kapoor was another actor who had a women claiming to be his wife. But this time, instead of a random person, the women was an actress and the daughter of yesteryear superstar Raj Kumar. Her name is Vastavikta Pandit and she has appeared in film like Eight: The Power of Shani and Aisi Bhi Kya Jaldi Hai. Trouble started when she moved to Shahid Kapoor’s adjoining building and started following the star everywhere, even on his shoots. Soon she started believing that she was Shahid Kapoor’s wife and claimed that she was married to the star.
Tired of her antics, Shahid went on to register a non-cognisable complaint against the actress at the Versova police station. Senior officials at the police station said that they sent men for arrest but she was not found at her home. Vastavikta had attended SIT University in Manhattan in New York and completed her degree in Arts from there. She also attended workshops with Satyajit Dubey and Shernaaz Patel and learnt jazz from Shiamak Davar. Presently she lives with her brother Puru Rajkumar
In November 2016, an elderly couple R. Kathiresan and K. Meenakshi from Melur, Tamil Nadu, claimed to be the parents of Tamil superstar Dhanush. The couple approached the Melur court claiming their paternity and demanding Rs. 65,000 per month from the actor for maintenance citing their poor financial condition. They claimed that Dhanush ran away from home to Chennai to as a school kid to become a film star. They even provided IDs, birth certificate and identification mark. The matter was moved to Chennai and Madurai bench summoned the actor in the said matter.
Dhanush attended the court but refused for a DNA examination but claimed that he does not even remotely know this couple. However, the identification marks that the couple talked about could not be identified and the IDs and certificated produced by the couple also turned out to be fake and fabricated. After a brief trial the matter was finally closed and judgement was delivered in the favor of the actor. Though the couple even tried to approach superstar Rajnikanth, Dhanush’s father-in-law, nobody seemed to believe their bizarre story.
Dhanush is not the only Tamil superstar who had strangers claiming to be his relatives. Just after the death Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha who was also a superstar of Tamil cinema back in the day a man named J. Krishnamoorthy claimed to be her son. He claimed that he was born out of the affair between Jayalalitha and Telugu actor Shobhan Babu. He claimed that he was born in 1985 and and given in adoption to an Erode based family of Vasanthamani the very next year, who worked in the household of ex CM M.G. Ramachandra’s household in 1980s
The man even produced a bunch of documents and even a deed of adoption to support his claim and asked the court to give him the right to his properties. The Madras High Court’s Chief Justice R. Mahadevan threatened to put him in jail and asked him not to play games with the court. He was moving from one place to another continuously to escape arrest, but finally was arrested Dindigul Bus Terminus. Interestingly, the man, along with other properties of Jayalalitha laid claim on the famous Poes Garden residence
