In fact, even with the presence of a star-studded cast and an initially engaging script, the audiences might lose their interest over the show. These are the times when makers generally think of introducing a twist in the tale. And to make that happen, generally, a new character is introduced.
These are the times which can make for a make or break the serial with the new entrant. While most of the times, the serials do make the show more interesting, there are times when the audiences just go gaga over the announce of the new star who would enter the show. They just not increase the hype but also get more audiences towards the show.

Siddharth Shukla has been a popular actor by after his first show, he failed to rise up in his career. But that was till he entered Balika Vadhu in 2012 as Shivraj Alok Shekhar aka Shiv. He played grown up Anandi’s husband. The show not only gave him a new fame, but he became a household name through this show.He played the character of an ideal husband and girls swooned over him! Well, he just took the show to a new nevel, didn’t he?
Tina Dutta entered Karmphal Data Shani midway as Goddess Damini. In fact, she gave the show a much-needed push. She is being seen opposite Rohit Khurrana who plays the titular role as his wife. It was one of the biggest comebacks too because Tina was seen after a long time on TV. She was in talks for a few other shows as well but gave her nod to this show. She apparently rejected a few shows too.
Bade Acche Lagte Hai was always on the top spot when it came to TRPs. In fact, audiences just loved the chemistry that Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar shared. But the introduction of Sameer Kocchar made it all the more interesting. The IPL presenter got a new host of fans to the show. In fact, more audiences lined up to see what he plays in the serial. He played the character of Rajat Kapur who was in love with Priya after she recovered from coma. His was a short role.
The latest star to get us all excited about a Tv show is Nia Sharma. Nia who has been missing on the small screen for quite some time has reportedly been approached for Arjun Bijlani starrer Ishq Me Marjawa. She will play a girl named Anjali who claims to be Arohi. She said, “The viewers will be in for a confusion. I am playing a girl named Anjali, who claims she is Arohi. So it’s going to be a twisted time ahead.” She also added, “I am really thrilled to be associated with the show. The makers have assured me that it’s going to be a performance-oriented role. The story will be moving ahead with my character. Joining a show mid-way is not quite my thing. But the strong role made me take this up.”
Amrapali Gupta, who won our hearts as the vamp in Qubool Hai is also supposedly approached for Naagin 3. The sources has revealed that her character has been kept under wraps as of yet, but she will be seen playing a negative character on the lines of that of Sudha Chandan’s in the earlier two seasons. Well, we have not seen her as of yet, but we hope that she makes an entry soon as audiences are quite excited to see her in this new season of Naagin!
The Sapna Babu Ka Bidaai actress was one of the recent additions to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. When she entered the show, she shared screen with Hina Khan too and that took the viewership into a whole new level. However, Hina bid goodbye to the show soon. In the show she plays the character of Mrs. Goenka who is Kartik’s step mom Kartik is now married to Akshara’s daughter Naira and is her mother-in-law.
