The comedian has been celebrating and basking in his glory after sharing the news of dating his sweet heart Ginni Chatrath, and controversies have already started knocking his door.
Kapil has become the sufferer of his own success. His life, career graph and achievements have not been a cake walk. He’s had his big share of controversies which never fail to leave him, the price one pays for stardom.

When Kapil Sharma told Chandan Prabhakar, “Tu mera dost tha, isliye you are in the show.”
Chandan Prabhakar who plays the chai wala in Kapil’s show was subjected to Kapil’s arrogance during a show they did in Sidney. According to Spotboye, in an impulsive outburst, Kapil fought with Chandan and said, “Tu mera dost tha, isliye you are in the show.” Chandan retaliated and said, "Tu hoga Kapil Sharma, but you can't speak to me like this," to which Kapil replied, "Thappad marunga tujhe"!
It is also said that later Kapil abused Chandan on their way back on the same flight and the duo did not perform together in their next show in Melbourne.

When Kapil assaulted Sunil Grover
One character/person in Kapil Sharma’s journey has been as popular as Kapil, and that one person is Sunil Grover. The moment Sunil aka Gutthi left his show Comedy Nights With Kapil, there was a massive outrage from fans against the show when their favourite character had quit. Sunil apparently had a tiff with Kapil and their fights were the reason why he had quit. He did come back later after his individual shows didn’t do that well, but this exit was a jolt for Kapil.
Later, Sunil joined him again in The Kapil Sharma Show where he plays the role of Dr. Gulati.
On a recent flight with Sunil, Kapil got drunk and started hurling abuses at the flight staff for not serving him more alcohol. When Sunil tried to stop him and reminded that this behaviour doesn’t suit a big personality like him, Kapil said, “Teri aukaat kya hai jo tu mujhko aisa bole? Tu hai kaun? Tera show flop ho gaya tha, tu mera naukar hai, tu Australia mein bhi jo show kiya khude se woh flop tha…”
Many online reports suggested that Kapil assaulted Sunil, and following this Sunil Grover will quit the show. But a few hours later Kapil told a media portal, “All this is rubbish. Nothing of this sort has happened. Good that you gave me a call to clarify. Me and Sunil share a healthy vibe and he is like my big brother.”
“I and Sunil fight a lot, but there is no problem between us. Please follow the truth. All this news is fake.” he added.
Kapil versus Colors TV
The last episode of Kapil’s insanely popular show Comedy Nights With Kapil was never aired on television due to an ugly argument between Kapil and the channel. Prior to this, anyway Kapil and the channel weren’t at good terms and the show was being pulled off air. But none of the fans had expected that this would lead to an abrupt end to the show without the last episode airing on TV.
The channel also accused him of violating clauses and asking for a bomb fee to continue.
