7 Times When 3 Or More Bollywood Films Will Clash At The Box Office In 2018
Updated : January 21, 2018 06:24 PM ISTEvery year, we see a number of films looking for a clear slot where they are able to maximise their return on investment. If a film has a clear week, chances are that it will rule the box-office, if it is any good. Producers always look forward to recovering their budget first and then think of profits.
As there are a large number of films releasing every week, very few films are able to get a clear slot and other films are forced to clash with each other. Clashes are bad for any film whether it is a big-star vehicle or a small-budget film as multiple films tend to eat into each other's share at the box-office. Here are 7 times when 3 or more Bollywood films will clash at the box-office:
12 January 2018: Mukkabaaz, Kaalakaandi and 1921 clashed with each other in the first big clash of the year.
19 January 2018: As many as 5 films released on 19th January- My Birthday Song, Vodka Diaries, Wo India Ka Shakespeare, Nirdosh and Union Leader.
16 February 2018: 3 films will clash on this date- Daas Dev, 3 Storeys and Dil Juunglee.
23 February 2018: 3 films will be clashing at the box office, Rani Mukerji's Hichki, Welcome To New York and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
2 March 2018: Pari, Parmanu and Drive will clash on this date. However, there are reports that Drive may shift its release date.
9 March 2018: 3 films will release this Friday, Veerey Ki Wedding starring Pulkit Samrat and Jimmy Shergill, Baa Baaa Black Sheep and Hate Story 4.
