10 Bollywood Actors Who Signed Their Second Film Before Their Silver Screen Debut!

There is a new generation of actors cropping up in the industry and replacing the older ones. There is a lot of anticipation around the debuts of popular star kids who are finally ready to take the reins of their family legacy in their own hands. From the likes of Sara Ali Khan to Aryaan Khan there are many star kids we want to see on the silver screen already and guess what? Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol has already signed up for his second movie, even before his first film came out! Well this is certainly a feat achieved by the young actor, but it not the first time it has happened in Bollywood. Take a look at these actors who had also signed their second film before their debut film came out!

Preity Zinta – The actress was signed up for her debut film by director Shekhar Kapoor, but unfortunately the film titled Tara Rum Pum Pum, was shelved and the director recommended her name to Mani Ratnam who signed her up for Dil Se.. Well the supporting role in the film that she had wasn’t the one film she had in her kitty then. She was simultaneously working on Kya Kehna and also Solider.

Anushka Sharma – She got a dream Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2008. But if that was not enough reason to be happy, she had two more films with the popular Yash Raj banner to go which were Band Baja Barat and Ladies Vs. Ricky Bahl.

Parineeti  Chopra – A former executive at Yash Raj films, she made a debut in Ladies Vs. Ricky Bahl in a supporting role. Even before the film’s release, she was already working on Ishaqaade alongside Arjun Kapoor.

Shah Rukh Khan – Hema Malini got him on broad for her 1992, directorial debut Dil Ashna Hai and he soon enough signed another project Deewana. Incidentally, Deewana released before Dil Ashna Hai in 1992.

 Akshay Kumar – He had signed two films, which both released in 1991, one was Saugandh, which was first to release in theatres and the other was Dancer. The later though flopped miserably at the box office.

Arjun Kapoor – The actor was in a 3 film deal with the Yash Raj banner. His debut was Ishaqzaade and the film next in row was Aurangzeb which flopped miserably.

Harshvarshan Kapoor - The actor who was already doing Mirzya had signed up for Bhavesh Joshi and started working on his second project before Mirzya hit the theatres!

Karan Deol – Sunny has been busy in preparing to launch his son Karan in his home production, Pal Pal Dil Ke Pas and has now signed his second film with Dinesh Vijan which will be directed by Kunal Deshmukh.

 But will the young actor be able to recreate the success of these actors is yet to be seen.

Zaira Wasim - The 16 year old actor won rave reviews for her performance in her debut film, Dangal. The film established Zaira as one of the best talents around & she also went onto win a National Award for her powerful showcase of talent in the film. However, little do people know that she had already signed on her next film, Secret Superstar even before she started shooting for Dangal. Two back-to-back films with Aamir Khan....that obviously must've felt good.

Sara Ali Khan - The actress who is all set to make her debut with Kedarnath opposite Sushant Singh Rajput has apparently also signed her second film with Rohit Shetty's Simmba for which Ranveer Singh is alreayd finalized and will also star Sara in the lead opposite the actor. While Kedarnath's release has been postponed owing two the fallout between Abhishek Kapoor and the production house KriArj.
