8 Big Bollywood Clashes That Will Take Place In 2018!
Updated : December 21, 2017 05:31 AM ISTAs 2017 is coming to an end, we can only look forward to the Bollywood releases of 2018. 2018 will bring a host of new films that would be high on both entertainment and content. While we do know about the films that will be releasing next year, the dates have not yet been finalised for most. Within the few whose dates are finalised, many would be clashing too.
Well, there are as many as 8 Fridays that will see two or more films clashing with each other. Check out this list of 8 upcoming clashes of 2018:
1. Aiyaari and Padman (26th Jan)
The Manoj Bajpayee and Sidharth Malhotra starrer Aiyaari was initially scheduled for a 26th January release, but owing to chances of clash with 2.0, it was pushed to the next weekend. But then it was announced that Padman will be releasing on Republic Day instead of the big budget 2.0 and therefore Aiyaari was once again brought back to the initial date of release.
2. Mukkabaaz and Kalakandi (12th Jan)
Anurag Kashyap will return once again in January with his film Mukkabaaz, that had garnered praise from all the film festivals. It will be clashing with Saif Ali Khan's upcoming film, Kalakandi.
3. Pari and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (9th Feb)
Nushrat Bharucha and Kartik Aryan will reunite once again in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. Interestingly, the film will clash with Anushka Sharma's Pari, which also stars Parambrata Chatterjee.
4. Hichki and Parmanu (23rd Feb)
Rani Mukherjee will be making her comeback with Hichki, where she will be seen in the role of a teacher. It was to enjoy a solo release, but John Abraham starrer Parmanu has been pushed to 23rd February too. The film was initially scheduled for a December 2017 release.
5. Drive and Hate Story 4( 2nd March)
Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacquline Fernadez will come together for the first time in Drive. The film will clash with Karan Wahi and Urvashi Rautella starrer Hate Story 4!
6. 2.0 and Baaghi 2 (27th April)
Shankar's giant venture 2.0 will come to the theatres on 27th April, after being pushed from the 26th January slot. Interestingly, the date was already taken by Baaghi 2. We feel that the later might be postponed or preponed!
7. Race 3- Fanney Khan (15th July)
Ex-flames Salman and Aishwarya will now come face to face and clash at the box-office. Both their upcoming films have been finalised for Eid 2018 release!
8. SRK and Aanand L Rai's next, Temper remake and Kedarnath (Christmas 2018)
The biggest clash of next year might just happen in Christmas where Srk, Ranveer Singh and Sushant Singh Rajput will lock horns. Even though it has been said that Ranveer Singh's Temper remake might be postponed, Aanand L Rai and the makers of Kedernath are adamant about the Christmas release!
