Box Office Records Smashed By Avengers: Infinity War After Day 1

Avengers: Infinity War was expected to break all the box-office records established by other superhero films and staying true to all the predictions and expectations, the film has had a blockbuster launch at the global box-office. As the mightiest superheroes take on the mad titan Thanos, the box-office onslaught has also begun. The Infinity Juggernaut has just started and it seems like it'll blow away every record in front of it.

The film is running to packed houses and also had record preview shows on Thursday. People are buying tickets for their favorite through auction sites as well while few lucky fans are going for multiple watches. It is now the Biggest Hollywood Opener of All Time in India with a net collection of 31 Crores on Friday.

It is the Biggest Opening Film of 2018 in India and has beaten Tiger Shroff's Baaghi 2 (25 Crores). Infinity War had 2000 screens while Baaghi 2 had 3500 screens.

It has also beaten the Day 1 collection of blockbuster Indian films like Dangal, PK, Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Padmaavat etc. 

Infinity War has beaten Age of Ultron to become the Biggest Opening Superhero film in the USA. While Ultron earned 84.4 million, Infinity War has earned between 100-107 Million USD.

Infinity War also boasts of highest gross for a Marvel film on Thursdays. It earned 39 Million USD and broke the record of Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3, Civil War etc.
