Will These 5 Bollywood Films Be Able To Make February The Biggest Month For Bollywood This Year?

The first month of the new year made us look towards 2018 with hope. Not only did a small budget film garner praises and performed mildly well at the box office, but after months of ensuing controversy, Padmaavat finally saw the light of the day.

Padmaavat is already rolling towards a massive box-office collection. Despite not being screened in a few states, the film minted 155 crores. But would February be able to infuse new hopes to the Bollywood numbers at the box-office? Well with the releases lined up, the month really looks hopeful. Let us have a look at the Bollywood films that will take over box-office this month.

1. Padman

The film was supposed to release in January on Republic Day, but since Padmaavat got the same date, the makers decided to shift the film and give it a solo release. The film is made on the life of Arunachalam Muranantham and has Akshay Kumar playing the lead. This film will also mark the comeback of Soman Kapoor after a span of almost two years. Radhika Apte too will play a huge part in the film. WIth R Balki donning the director's hat, the film will definitely mint a good amount a the box-office. The film has hit written all over it. It only remains to be seen if the film will be a super hit.

2. Aiyaari

This film too had been postponed because of Padmaavat and will release once again with Padman on 9th February. It has Siddharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee in the lead. We will also get to see Rakul Preet Singh after a long time. While a lot of promotions remain to be done for the film, it will definitely make an average collection.

3. Dil Junnglee

The film will have Taapsee Pannu and Shakib Saleem in the lead. Thanks to Taapsee's record, the film will definitely find some takers and with good promotions, it has the potential to do well. We are predicting an average collection for this one!

4. Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety

Luv Ranjan will come back once again, with Kartik and Nushrat Bharucha. This time Sunny Singh will also be with them and it will have average collections for sure. It can also be a hit if the content is good!

5. Welcome to New York. 

Some funny cameos, great moments and Karan Johar in a double role. The film is definitely tickle our funny bones and will have something between average to above average collection.
