Here Are The Opening Day Collections Of Tiger Shroff's All Bollywood Films
Updated : March 31, 2018 02:50 PM ISTTiger Shroff is one of the most popular young actors working in Bollywood today. He is the hottest property in the action genre and in his 4-year-old career, he has made sure that he's the go-to guy in Bollywood whenever someone thinks of making an action film. There was a huge void in Bollywood in terms of a bonafide action star as the mid-2000s and the decade of 2010s hardly saw any actor who could be called a true action hero.
He made his Bollywood debut with Sabbir Khan's Heropanti which was a smash hit at the box-office. He was paired alongside fellow newcomer Kriti Sanon and their pairing was appreciated. He followed it up with Baaghi in 2016 which was a huge hit and established him as a bonafide action star. His last 2 outings tanked at the box-office but they were also in the action genre. Baaghi 2 has broken a lot of records already on its opening day. Here are the first day collections of Tiger Shroff's Bollywood films:
Heropanti: Tiger's Bollywood debut was made on a budget of 25 Crores and the film earned over 50 Crores in India. Also, the opening day collection of the film was 6.63 Crores.
Baaghi: The Sabbir Khan directorial was inspired by the hit Indonesian film Raid: Redemption and the film earned over 76 Crores in India. its opening day collection was 11.87 Crores in India.
A Flying Jatt: The Remo D'Souza directorial earned mixed reviews from the critics and was a flop at the box office. The film earned 6 Crores on its first Friday but it opened a day earlier and made 7 Crores on Janmashtami holiday.
Munna Michael: Another Tiger Shroff film to be directed by Sabbir Khan, it also starred Nawazudding Siddiqui in a prominent role and made 6.65 Crores on its opening day.
Baaghi 2: The sequel to Baaghi sees Tiger Shroff as an army man and the film has set fire to the box office in its very first day as it has emerged as the biggest opener of 2018 yet and beaten the likes of Padmaavat and Raid. The film earned 25.10 Crore on Friday.
