Here's Why Ishaan Khattar's Debut In Bollywood Is Eerily Similar To Shahid Kapoor In Many Ways!

Shahid Kapoor joined the industry some 15 years back and took the industry by storm. The son of Pankaj Kapoor and Neelima Azim, he already had a lot of contacts in the film industry. Yet, he made a humble start by appearing in music videos and as a background dancer in films like Taal. Now he is one of the best actors that Bollywood has who has given us films like Kaminey and Haider.

15 years down the line, in 2018, Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khattar is all set to make his debut with Majid Majidi's 'Beyond The Clouds' opposite Malavika Mohanan. The trailers have left us all impressed. Upon closer inspection though, we found some uncanny similarity between how he is getting in Bollywood and how Shahid made his entry into the industry. Here are 4 similarities that left us flabberghasted:

1. Both of them will be making their debut at the age of 22

Shahid Kapoor's Ishq Vishk released in 2003 when he was 22 years old. Ishaan too is 22 years old in 2018 and will turn 23 in November. By that time, both Beyond The Clouds and the out and out Bollywood film, Dhadak, will be released!

2. They both did unnamed cameos before their debut

Shahid had appeared as a background dancer in films like Taal and Dil Toh Pagal Hai. But we first saw him as a child artist in a Complan ad. Ishaan Khattar appeared as a child artist in Vah! Life Ho Toh Aisi! and was also a part of Udta Punjab where he appeared for a fleeting moment.

3. They have learned dancing from Shaimak Davar's Academy

Both Ishaan and Shahid have been taught to shake their legs by none other than Shaimak Davar!

4. They were both linked to their co-stars

Shahid was linked to his Ishq Vishq co-star Amrita Arora, with whom his chemistry is still considered as one of the best. Ishaan, on the other hand, has been linked to his Dhadak co-star, Jhanvi Kapoor.
