8 Bollywood Actors Who Were Originally Signed Up To Play Some Other Role In Their Own Films

Many Bollywood actors we see in movies are not always the first choice for the roles they are playing. Infact, many of the stars were not even the second in line for the roles. But regardless they make the Bollywood films what they are and in fact in a few cases many stars who had already come on board for a film were reshuffled into playing some other role. Take a look at what these actors from the film were originally selected for.

Madhuri Dixit was originally approached to play Pooja in Dil Toh Pagal Hai and was later signed up for playing Nisha when the role was turned down by other actresses.

Deepika Padukone was offered to select between the role of Meera and Veronica and she selected Veronica, and the other role went to Diana Penty.

Apparently the role of Chulbul Pandey was originally offered to Sonu Sood, but the film grew in scale and Salman came on board as Chulbul Pandey and Sonu played Chedi Singh.

The original cast was supposed to be Saif, Hrithik and Akshaye. The lead role of Akash was to be played by Akshaye before Aamir came on board.

Sunny Deol was offered both roles and he chose to play the hero in Darr. Unfortunately, it is known for the villain in the film played by Shah Rukh.

Abhishek was initially cast to play Riteish's role in Bluffmaster and was later taken up as the lead.

Can you believe that Sanjay Dutt was signed up to play Zhaheer in Munna Bhai MBBS?? The lead was offered to Shah Rukh who had date issue and thus refused the film.
