Sanju Box Office: See Where It Ranks Amongst The Opening Day Collections Of Ranbir Kapoor's Films

Sanju is undoubtedly the most awaited film of 2018 in the first six months as the kind of buzz surrounding the film is such that even the controversial Padmaavat and Race 3 which had Salman Khan's star power could not match up to it. The film is getting overwhelmingly positive reception from all over and has been released across 5300 screens all over the world.

The advance booking of the film was in full swing and the film opened with 60% occupancy for the morning shows and the evening and night shows were housefull. Barfi: The Anurag Basu directorial opened at 8.18 Crores on its first day.

Jagga Jasoos: The Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif starrer collected 8.2 Crores on its first day.

Roy: The Arjun Rampal-Ranbir Kapoor starrer earned 9.3 Crores on its opening day.

Rockstar: The Imtiaz Ali directorial earned 9.9 Crores on the first day.

Rajneeeti: The multi starrer film collected 10.33 Crores on its first day. 

Tamasha: The Ranbir Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer directed by Imtiaz Ali garnered 10.94 Crores on its first day.

Aae Dil Hai Mushkil: The Karan Johar directorial was a hit and earned 13.30 Crores on the first day.

Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani: The film was a blockbuster and earned 19 Crores on the first day.

Besharam: The Abhinav Kashyap directorial was a flop but earned an opening day collection of 21 Crores. 

Sanju: The Rajkumar Hirani directorial became Ranbir's biggest opener with collections of 34.75 Cr.
