These Upcoming Films Of Taapsee Pannu Are Proof That She Is One Of The Busiest Stars Right Now!

Taapsee Pannu had been a dependable name in the south film industry. After a long streak of hit south films, the actress had made a Bollywood debut with Chasme Baddoor. Though the film failed to impress the audiences, Taapsee Pannu was noticed and she made the very few minutes of her screen presence count with a remarkable performance in Baby. After her performance in Pink, there was no looking back for the actress.

Ever since Pink, she has been busy with work and has at least three releases every year. Well, she is undoubtedly one of the most sought after and busiest actress in Bollywood today, and these upcoming films of hers in proof:

1. Badla

The actress will be seen in the official Hindi remake of 2016 Spanish thriller film Contratiempo. He will reunite with his Pink co-star Amitabh bachchan for the film. It has been directed by Sujoy Ghosh of Kahaani fame and will release on 8 March 2019.

2. Saand Ki Aankh

Taapsee will team up with Bhumi Pednekar for a film on world’s oldest sharpshooters. The film will be directed by Tushar Hiranandani, who had written scripts for films like Grand Masti, Dhamaal and Total Dhamaal. The shooting of the film commenced in February and the film will have a late 2019 or early 2020 release!

3. Mission Mangal

Taapsee will once again join hands with Baby and Naam Shabana co-star, Akshay Kumar for a film based on Mars Orbiter Mission, which marked India's first interplanetary expedition. The film will be on the scientists of Indian Space Research Organisation or ISRO and Taapsee will play one of the scientists. The film has an ensemble star cast and is scheduled to release on Independence Day 2019.

4. Tadka

Taapsee will be a [part of the film which is the official Hindi remake of 2011 Malayalam blockbuster Salt N' Pepper. The film will have Nana Patekar and Shriya Saran in the lead and Taapsee will play the character of Nichole and has been paired opposite Ali Fazal. The film is in its post production stage.

Special Mention- Game Over

Taapsee will not just be a part of Bollywood, but will also return back to the South industry with a film called Game Over. The film, that will be made in Tamil and Telugu, is a quirky thriller set inside a house. The film will be directed by Ashwin Saravan and it will release in the first half of 2019.
