Mardaani - A Must Watch

Mardaani is a story of a female cop, who is not afraid to kick ass. Shivani Shivaji Roy (Rani) a crime branch officer is on the case of child trafficking, and she vows to not rest until she rescues all the little girls being trafficked. The story turns into an awesome cop-criminal chase down.

Rani Mukerji is as raw as it gets! She looks incredibly smart and sexy wearing a natural look. If you could go and watch a Kick then Mardaani is definitely worthy of your time and money. She has always been appreciated for her performances and she has not let us down this time also! For me, she has definitely out done all other Bollywood cops - be it Pandey Ji or Singham! Rani plays just the right mix of emotions and boldness. After giving this performance, Rani has risen the bar of expectations for her fans. 

The Story 'almost' makes it! 

The story of Mardaani, wasn't that bad. Having said that, one might come out with the feeling that it didn't live up to all that we expected from a theme like this. You won't be bored at any minute of the movie but there might be a feeling of wanting more from the script. The movie opens to a 'based on a real story' line, but fails to really educate us about the issue of human trafficking. The focus somehow remains on the cop-criminal chase and dialogues rather than the issue at hand. 

Violence at its best! 

Rani has a fight scene at the climax of the movie. That scene is so good that that scene alone makes Mardaani a one time watch for everybody. Throughout the movie, Rani has several scenes that will make you hold her in awe - like the one in which she looks all sexy and sweaty doing her push ups! The gaali-galoch, the guns and the mardaangi don't make us miss the presence of a hero! 

Final Verdict  

Mardaani deserves a 3.5 out of 5 stars. Rani Mukerji will inspire you, touch your heart and pump you up. The movie might not impress, but being the show stopper that Rani Mukerji is, if you miss out on Mardaani then you definitely have missed out on one of her crispiest performances!
