The Trailer of ‘Sachin A Billion Dreams’ Will Make You Chant Sachinn Sachinn!

The sound of a capacity crowd hymning Sachin Sachin to the loudest cheer has perhaps been heard by every Indian. For those 25 odd years the little master walked into bat with that Indian jersey on, the whole of country has batted with him. The trailer of Sachin A Billion Dreams will make you feel exactly how you felt back when the Master Blaster was batting.

From his admittedly mischievous childhood to the turning point of his career, the film promises to walk us through what we have not seen about Sachin Tendulkar. While sports biopic are often condemned for taking too much of creative liberty, this one has none other than The God if Indian Cricket himself narrating his story.

The trailer really is a plethora of emotions. From Sachin enjoying the precious moments of playing with his kids to his house being vandalized in the wake of match fixing, it not  just makes us want to watch the movie already but also spare a thought for him. With real footages from both on and off the field, this cinematic experience is going to be very special.

Sachin A Billion Dreams is unlike most other sports biopic and especially for the audience that is ready to compare it with Dhoni, you really can’t. If anything this one is a documentary drama where real facts, incidents and events are being narrated by real people along with some enactment. Tony Greig’s immortal commentary words hailing young Sachin as a wonderful player are sure to give you goosebumps.

With an excellent score by AR Rahman and an international team behind the making of this project, we should really prepare ourselves for a treat.

Oh and there’s a guest appearance by Dhoni too. Not Sushant Singh Rajput but Mahendra Singh Dhoni!

But who can forget this moment when the whole nation cried along with Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar!
