Salman Khan is inarguably the biggest star in Bollywood--and perhaps whole of the country. But while his commercial prowess is unquestionable, his acting potential often starts a debate among the movie-going audience.

Starting his career in 1988 with under-the-radar Biwi Ho To Aisi, the actor came to prominence with Sooraj Barjatya's Maine Pyar Kiya and since then hAs had a rather hit-and-miss career. Sure, there were times when his stardom was sky-high but those phases were flanked by periods of struggle.
