News and social media was all taken over by Jasleen Kaur after she posted a picture of Saravjit Singh accusing him of eve teasing.

Like many others, Sonakshi Sinha believed the story! And tweeted:

“Well done Jasleen! Hope this serves as a warning to all the creeps and encouragement to every girl to take action!”

But when the truth came out, she regretted supporting the girl for a fabricated story and apologized to Saravjit on Twitter!

She takes pride in rectifying her mistake and why shouldn't she! #Respect
