Good Actors Of Bollywood Who Did Terrible Films This Year

Every year, Bollywood fans are treated with a mixed bag of films. While some take Hindi cinema to new levels excellence some just make us scratch our head in confusion and lament at the sorry state of some filmmakers and actors.

But if there is one thing that is more tragic than bad films, it seeing good actors in seriously bad films. This year, unfortunately, we saw a lot of it happening. Here are some of the best actors of Bollywood who did terrible films this year

Rajkummar Rao

He is easily one of the most talented actors that Bollywood has produced in a very long time. Rajkummar Rao has made it a point to wow us everytime he comes on screen but that does mean he has not made a few questionable choices. Last year he did films like Behen Hogi Teri and Shaadi Main Zaroor Aana which were clearly not good enough for him and this year he disappointed us by appearing in Fanney Khan which was again a film that could not do justice to his talents.

Manoj Bajpayee

Manoj Bajpayee has been one of the most consistently stellar performers of Bollywood for a while now and we expect him to see in best of Hindi cinema. Thus when he appears in films like Aiyaary it is simply unacceptable for us. While Aiyaary flopped badly at the box-office, his other two films Baaghi 2 and Satyameva Jayate were successful at the box-office but we simply could not accept Manoj Bajpayee in films of such poor quality.

Abhay Deol

Of all unsolved mysteries in the world, the one that haunted us the most this year was Abhay Deol’s decision to act in a terrible mess named Naanu Ki Jaanu. We hope he had some really compelling reasons to sign the film as we can’t imagine why an actor of Abhay’s caliber would agree to do such a bad excuse of a film.

Chitrangada Singh

Apart from her smoking hot looks, Chitrangada has always left us mesmerized with films like Hazaaron Khwahishein Aisi and Inkaar, thus we really could not fathom her reason to star in Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 this year. Not only was it a badly made film, her role in the film was utterly unimportant. Why would you do something like that Chitrangada? Why?
