Bollywood actors have given some of the best performances we have seen in films that had the audiences and the critics stand up and cheer for them. We see a lot of acclaimed performances from the actors these days as actors go to supreme lengths to become another character. They don't shy from gaining/losing weight, learning new skills, languages and performing their own stunts to make the scene look authentic.

But, there have been times when we have seen some of the best actors delivering what could be termed as the worst performance of their career. Audiences are also left scratching their heads wondering why would this person sign a film like this or why would they 'act' that way. Here are the worst 10 performances of top Bollywood actors:

Shahrukh Khan in Ra.One- King Khan's magnum opus was lambasted critically and even the audiences weren't as excited after seeing the film. he couldn't ace the Superhero persona exactly and also the South Indian characterization was plain bad.

Aamir Khan in Mela- Though it was a tussle between Mela and Tum Mere Ho, Mela takes away the credit for being too loud, cringing and hyper-energetic Aamir Khan screaming Heroineee throughout the film.

Hrithik Roshan in Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon- There could be a series of books on Things Not to do in a film and deciphering what made actors like Hrithik and Kareena sign this film. This film is 100 times overdramatic than the most overdramatic film you have ever seen.

Imran Khan- If you ever wondered how does it look like when an actor seems miscast for a role, don't look too far away. Imran Khan as the street-smart Don is the worst thing you will ever see and curse the casting director.

Amitabh Bachchan in Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag- What made Big B sign this film is beyond our grasp. RGV found a way to desecrate the memory of Sholay forever.

Salman Khan in Tubelight- Let's just say this out in the open, everyone hates Salman Khan doing 'acting'. Bhai's fan just loves him doing the regular bhai things.

Akshay Kumar in Joker- Akshay Kumar actually won an award for this film! The worst actor in Golden Kela Awards. He is a 'space scientist' who communicates with Aliens, yes, this is the actual plot of the film. 

Ranbir Kapoor in Besharam- If there's one film every Ranbir fan and Ranbir himself would like to forget, it's this torture of a film. Bland comedy, acting, and direction make this unbearable to watch.

Saif Ali Khan in Humshakals- His 'Bhaijaan' bumbling thief in Nehle Pe Dehla would have taken the crown had it not been the 3 times of Saif Ali Khan torture audiences had to go through in a single film.
